Stage Plot/Tech Stuff
Stage Area:
16 feet width preferred, minimum of
12 feet deep.

Stage Plot and Tech Requirements for Venue provided PA (pdf)

Voodoo City Radio Sound Reinforcement:
Behringer XR18 digital mixer + 2 powered speakers suitable for small clubs/crowds of 250-300 people

Stage Plot and Tech Requirements using our Sound System (pdf)

Set-Up Time :
VCR generally requires 45 minutes to an hour for set-up and sound check.

Electrical Requirements :
- powered mains 240V socket (nearby within 10 feet) for the PA system.

- Another normal 240V socket for lighting

The PA system (Behringer XR18 digital mixer requires) 100-120V - 50/60Hz 30W. Electrical requirements beyond that are not typical of a 5-piece band.

All in all, our electrical requirement for a full band set-up with lights is usually smaller than a couple of standard 2kW kettles, so a domestic 240V electricity ring main should be absolutely fine.

M&M's:
In addition to our customary set up requirements, VCR likes chocolate, but
beer is better and free beer is way cool!
